Many years ago, Native Americans had their own shopping center

that walked on 4 legs! Many Native Americans depended on large

animals such as bison for food, clothing, shelter, tools and toys. As

the students sit in a circle around a bison skin, they will learn the

uses of many parts of the bison that sustained the Native American

tribes of the prairie for thousands of years.
